I hate those moments when you're without Internet, yet you lul indigence to see a webpage that you were looking at just moments earlier. It's thwarting, but if you're running Chrome or Firefox so getting to a recently viewed web page spell offline is easy.

Both browsers have the ability to exhibit content in their respective caches—temporarily saved webpage data—instead of the live interlingual rendition of the site.

This can be imperfect since the page can change while you'Ra offline, rendering the saved variant inaccurate, and the browser cache only contains a limited amount of your recent browsing story. It also doesn't work on sites that bring home the bacon live feeds of content, such as Facebook surgery Netflix.

Nevertheless, if you need information from a news item OR another site you were just viewing, try one of these solutions.

Chrome

Chromium-plate's saved re-create button.

Chrome's method to display stale (non live) webpages is currently experimental. By default Chromium-plate can show some webpages when offline, but with this setting enabled the feature is far more robust.

To acquire ready for offline fashion in Chrome typewrite chrome://flags/#show-saved-copy in the URL address bar. Then blue-ribbon Enable: Primary coil from the dropdown bill of fare under the Enable Demo Saved Copy Button heading.

Once that's through with, restart your browser for the feature to take effect.

To test viewing a cached paginate, engage your PC offline and open a webpage from your Holocene epoch browsing history.
